Frequently Asked Questions..

Whats the difference between uPVC & Composite Doors?
uPVC doors are made from a single material—unplasticised polyvinyl chloride—which makes them lightweight, low maintenance, and cost-effective. They provide good insulation and security but can sometimes lack the premium feel of other options.

Composite doors, on the other hand, are constructed from multiple materials, typically including a solid timber core, glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), and insulating layers. This combination makes them stronger, more secure, and more energy-efficient than uPVC. They also offer a more authentic timber-like appearance and a wider range of design options.

What area do you cover?

We are based in Great Yarmouth, but our team operates throughout East Anglia. We predominantly serve Norfolk and Suffolk, covering major towns and cities such as Norwich, King’s Lynn, Thetford, and Dereham in Norfolk, as well as Ipswich, Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds, and Newmarket in Suffolk. Of course, we also cover all the surrounding areas. Wherever you are in the region, we’re here to provide expert external door replacement and installation services.

Do you manufacture your own doors?

No, and this has been a topic of extensive discussion. However, we reached a conclusion that we believe best secures both our position in the market and, most importantly, the satisfaction of our customers.

Since we don’t manufacture our own doors, we have the flexibility to adapt and change suppliers when necessary. This allows us to consistently offer high-quality products to our customers accross norfolk and suffolk that minimise issues for both us and our customers. We regularly assess our manufacturers, and if a supplier no longer meets our strict quality standards, we have the freedom to switch—ensuring we always provide doors that meet our high expectations.

Do I get a guarantee with my new door?

All our doors come with a standard 10-year guarantee when installed by our expert team. However, individual manufacturer guidelines may vary, and certain maintenance requirements may apply to keep your guarantee valid.

We always recommend following the manufacturer’s care instructions to ensure long-lasting performance and full warranty coverage.

Can I order supply only?

You can order doors on a supply-only basis. However, once your door has been delivered, any future queries or issues will need to be addressed directly with the supplier. This ensures you receive the most efficient support and aftercare for your product. We suggest phoning us on 01493 497514 to discuss your requirements in detail.
